25.01.2022 Yesterday my colleague Emma Kealy asked the Minister for Health about the recent incidents occurring at the North Richmond Injecting Centre and how that is impacting children going to their local primary school. Prior to opening of the injecting centre, the community warned the Andrews Labor Government of concerns for school students and families due to dangerous, violent and drug-induced offenders in the area. The Government told the community they were wrong. History proves otherwise. The Government’s own report into the Injecting room which was released last year confirmed decreased community amenity, yet the Andrews Labor Government continues to ignore these serious and valid concerns.

23.01.2022 The Alfred has a leaking roof, cracked walls and flooded wards. The $2 billion redevelopment should be a priority for next week's state budget. The AMA has called for the rebuild, stating the hospital is in the "worst shape" of Melbourne's hospitals.... Just last year, surgeries were moved to Cabrini due to severe flooding. Investing in the Alfred means better healthcare for 700,000 Victorians in the southeast, and more local jobs.
23.01.2022 Businesses across Victoria have been smashed due to the COVID lockdowns and restrictions that were put in place by the Andrews Labor Government, so you would think the Small Business Minister would be doing everything she can to support business and the business community in Wodonga to get back on their feet. The arrogance on display by the Andrews Government continues with no regard or understanding to the impacts of the decisions they are responsible for.

21.01.2022 Last night I spoke with Peta Credlin about the Andrews Govt and the ongoing lack of accountability. The Andrews Govt can’t just slide away from their responsibility over the catastrophic failures with Hotel Quarantine, contact tracing and the lack of preparedness. Plus the lack of support and understanding of impacts to small business who have been absolutely smashed through the 2nd wave. All of which could have been avoided.

We heard how these traders are recovering from the extensive snap lockdowns that Victoria has endured under the Andrews Labor Government. It is vital for these businesses and many like them across the state to have confidence in their Government to protect not only our health and wellbeing but also our economic livelihoods as we continue to face the COVID-19 pandemic.

12.01.2022 Finally the Andrews Labor Government is taking the lead from New South Wales on mandating a single QR code for contact tracing. NSW first trialed their government QR code app in August last year. It was quickly implemented across the state. The Service NSW app has been a pivotal resource in their response.
