25.01.2022 In 2009 during the black Saturday bushfires our team with the CBD restaurant we owned volunteered and drove to the Healsville 'black Saturday fires' and provided catering for all our firefighters and volunteers who worked tirelessly for a whole 2 weeks. Our team here at georgieporgie are in awe at our hero's who have worked tirelessly to save people's livelihoods. Our hearts go out to all those who have lost loved ones, their homes and belongings and our hearts bleed for ou...r wildlife. Here at georgieporgie we have decided for the month of January ALL TIPS collected go in a fund for donations but will also be holding a disaster relief night here at georgieporgie 63 Kingsway glen Waverley georgieporgie cafe from 5pm to close next Wednesday night the 15th of January. ALL PROFITS raised on the night will go towards the relief donations for these disasterous fires.
