21.01.2022 Georgie's Bar will be open new years day from 6am to 10am for your morning coffee fix. We hope you all have a fun and safe night. We would also like to take this opportunity as 2020 comes to a close to express our sincere gratitude for the ongoing support of our loyal, regular customers, and the Banyo community as a whole. It has been a challenging year for everyone and your support, patience, understanding and generosity has helped make this year much less stressful for us,... and helped us to survive this difficult period. It was also wonderful to see a lot of new faces this year, with so many locals wanting to support their local small businesses, your support was a godsend. It was really nice to also be able to give back this year. From the end of March to the end of May we were able to give away over $600 worth of free coffees, to customers who we knew were suddenly doing it tough due to the pandemic. We would particularly like to thank all the customers who left tips or paid it forward, with special mention to our coffee suppliers Stella Coffee Roasters, who gave us a discount in April and also local businesses One Percent and Rotary electrical services. Your support this year enabled us to be able to give back to those in need, many of whom that morning coffee made such a big difference in their day. 14.01.2022 I am once again amazed, humbled and feel truly blessed to be part of the wonderful community here in Banyo. Today some of our regular customers came by and donated some couches for our cafe. These wonderful group of people understand that we want our establishment to be a welcoming and comfortable place for everyone in our community and wanted to contribute to that. They even brought in a special couch for our kids corner. Thank you all so much for your ongoing support, it means so much to me. It really reminds me that I am really lucky to be part of this fantastic little village of Banyo.

04.01.2022 To our valued customers, Unfortunately we will not be ready to open our dine in seating for Saturday. I know many of you are looking forward to being able to sit in and enjoy a cup of coffee and read the paper. We will be taking time over the weekend to do our best to be able to open up our dining/lounge area early next week. The Queensland Government has placed guidelines for re-opening dine in and we want to make sure we get it right to ensure the safety of our customers. ... Things to know for when we re-open dine in: We are required to keep a record of at least one person from each group dining in, in order to allow state health to do quick contact tracing in the event of an outbreak. We will need your name, address and telephone number, and will keep this information for 28 days. We are not allowed to use your personal information for anything other than contact tracing. There will be a maximum of 8 people allowed in our indoor section, plus 1 additional person to access the self serve station. There is a maximum of 10 customers dining in inclusive of indoor and outdoor area. All surfaces will be disinfected after use. There will be hand sanitiser available inside for customers to use. All customers who are not of a household unit are required to remain 1.5m apart If you have any symptoms of Covid 19 you will be asked not to dine in. We are allowed to refuse entry on these grounds. Thank you for your patience and ongoing support, we look forward to seeing you enjoying your dine in coffees soon.
