16.01.2022 Today marks Remembrance Day. At 11am, we will observe a minute’s silence to reflect and remember our fallen soldiers, and the war animals who served beside them.... We will remember them. This photo shows Flight Lieutenant G. A. Grant with his squadron's two cherished mascot dogs. Animals have played many different roles at war, including the role of mascot. Mascots gave soldiers much-needed companionship and comfort; what animals do best. Photo: The Australian War Memorial

08.01.2022 If you’re back at work after working from home during lockdown and your puppy is home alone and missing you, bring them to us, we are a home based fully registered daycare Centre, they can relax on couches in the undercover enclosed deck or play and run around the garden with complete all day supervision. Because we are not allowed over 5 dogs a day by council regulations, all puppies receive individual love and attention, no one misses out. Please give us a call, email or make an enquiry from this page. Cheers Georgina

04.01.2022 R.I.P to all the animals that were also forced to go to war. Thousands of animals were sent off to war to help battle, to help the wounded, to send written let...ters, to transport military weapons or supplies and many other tasks they were forced to do. They also were starved, they also got scared, they also got cold l, they also were abused and wounded but most of all they also died. With out these animals the war would have been even more difficult and devastatingly worse than it was, more soldiers would have died and more heart's would have been broken. Sorry if I have offended anyone but each ANZAC day, we all have a moment of silence for the brave people who battled the war but I never hear anything about the animals that were also involved in the war around the world so when u have a moment of silence thinking of the ANZACs also think of the animals that died for us. 04.01.2022 ANZAC DAY TRIBUTE TO OUR 4 LEGGED SOLDIERS All brave veterans deserve acknowledgement today. Wed like to make special mention of those often forgotten - t...he courageous service animals of wartime. The purple poppy is a symbol of remembrance for all the animals that served during wartime. Their blood stained the land, as they served with pride. A duty to their master, they stood side by side. From the sky, to the sea, through a vast open land, together they fought; both animal and man. So remember them kindly, as you walk through life, for they too served proudly, to help make things right. - Santina Lizzio SHARE TO HONOUR OUR WARTIME SERVICE ANIMALS
