Sometimes this means working alongside live roads, which was the case at our Old Windsor Road upgrade project in New South Wales. Completed earlier this year, the project was valued at $10.5 million and involved upgrading 1km of Old Windsor Road from two to three lanes in each direction and associated works. ... 19.01.2022 Were partnering with Main Roads Western Australia, BG&E and Golder to improve the safety of the Leach Highway and Welshpool Road intersection. Works on the project, valued at $93 million, include: - a new bridge taking Leach Highway over Welshpool Road to create a grade-separated interchange; - duplicate the existing Leach Highway bridge over the railway; and... - a shared path along Leach Highway from Sevenoaks Street to Orrong Road. The interchange will improve safety and efficiency, and reduce travel times by alleviating pressure on the local road network.

The project features: additional traffic lanes in each direction between Collier Road and Dunreath Drive; new bridges over the Swan River, Guildford Road, Railway Parade, the Midland Line railway and Dunstone Road;... upgrades to the Guildford Road and Great Eastern Highway interchanges; a Principal Shared Path with bridges, underpasses and local connections for cyclists and pedestrians; and - noise walls, lighting and amenity improvements. The announcement comes just weeks after the same project was shortlisted for the Civil Contractors Federation - Queensland Earth Awards. The team used best practice in planning, design and construction to deliver a landmark piece of infrastructure to the community. 07.01.2022 At Georgiou, not only are our people our most valuable asset but we consider them family. Thats why getting together with our own families to celebrate an achievement is so important to us! Our plant team recently held a Family Day to celebrate completion of the CAT 657E Scrapers rebuilds. The project took a huge nine months to complete and the team deserved the chance to celebrate after all of their hard work. As you can see the children had a lot of fun checking out all of the different types of machinery!

07.01.2022 The foundation has now been laid at our Hollywood Hospital South Block site for repeat client Ramsay Health Care! Georgiou is currently constructing the Hospitals new state-of-the-art emergency department, tenancy spaces and three 30-bed wards. Built for repeat client Department of Transport and Main Roads (Queensland), the $12.8 million project involved realignment of Bruce Highway, including bridge construction and approaches, to remove the severe curve in the existing alignment. 05.01.2022 Our Karel Avenue Upgrade project team in WA is doing its bit for the environment, reducing project construction waste by using Crushed Recycled Concrete as a substitute for standard limestone subbase. This alternative method allows the project to mitigate the use of a natural resource, recycling approximately 3,600 tonnes of a construction waste product. Just another thing were doing to minimise our impact on the environment while working with Main Roads Western Australia to sustainably manage resources.
