17.01.2022 Procedure when attending training... **Hand sanitizer will be available and required to be used on commencement and finishing of each netball training session and breaks. ** All equipment will be sanitised prior and after each training. **If you or any family members are unwell, please do not attend training as per state and federal government regulations.... **Parents or family members may attend training but please maintain social distancing rules. 13.01.2022 Hi Champions players & family, We have once again been invited to play at this year's upcoming long weekend carnival 5th - 8th June 2020. However, the inclusion carnival will be held Saturday 6th June due to West Coast Fever's home game on Sunday 7th June. This means we will need to travel down on the Friday and would return Sunday. Netball WA and I are working on sponsorship that may be available to us. This may go towards accommodation and travel costs.... I would like us to put together a fundraiser- this could be a sausage sizzle with a raffle, cake stall?? But would love and need your input and assistance to put this together. I am thinking a get together somewhere to discuss ideas.. Would anyone like to host this event?? Mid March would be a good time - Saturday or Sunday.. Also if you have some contacts that would ne prepared to donate $$ or a gift that we could raffle off? That would be awesome Please either send me a message via my mobile or messenger.

11.01.2022 Good morning team, we have been given the go ahead to recommence full training. Sooo hopefully I will see you all down at Nagle courts this Saturday 4pm sharp. The season can also commence but we are still awaiting notification from Geraldton Association. Hopefully I will have news this Saturday

11.01.2022 Hi everyone, Just to keep you informed. I have emailed Netball WA to find out what is happening with regard to the Perth carnival. I am yet to hear back. Will keep you posted. I would still like get everyone that can attend to next week's catch up on Sunday at Rodney and Jo's place. If anyone wishes to grab a lift I have a couple of spare seats, pls pm me. Agenda items:... Also one of our parents has been in touch with Midwest Sports Assoc and Darren is very keen to assist Champions so a meeting is on the cards. I would also like to discuss the uniforms - change of colour and the possibility of male and female uniforms. I will organise a poll v8a fb page for input and then hopefully we can make a final decision at the meeting. Any other agenda items pls let me know. Cheers Coach

08.01.2022 However in light of this, I would still like to go ahead with our meeting on the 29th March. It would be an awesome opportunity t9 get together pre season as well as discuss the 2020 season for Champions Netball. Pls share to those who may not be on our fb page and social media FUEL TO GO & PLAY ASSOCIATION CHAMPIONSHIPS Netball WA has made the decision to reschedule the 2020 Fuel to Go & Play Association Championships to a date to be determined in late September/October 2020. As one of the largest participation events on the Netball WA calendar, this decision will ensure our netball community has the greatest opportunity to take part in 2020. The official date will be advised once finalised.

03.01.2022 Hi team and parents, Season 2020 As the state govt have moved into phase 2 of resuming life!! We will soon be able to resume training for netball.. Commencing the season is still to be confirmed though.. The Geraldton Netball Assoc. will be meeting this week to assess our local season and What preparations need to be done prior to commencement of training, please keep an eye out via our fb page for further notifications. ... What team members can do now is let me know who will be happy to commence training and will be playing the season. Can you please email me [email protected] or pm via Facebook to let me know. I will advise you as soon as I have all information on hand for Champions to commence training. Training will still be located at Nagle Catholic College, Saturdays at 4pm - 5pm. Perth Carnival - We are still awaiting confirmation of dates for this, tentatively dates are the long weekend in October 2020. Fundraising meeting - as we had to cancel the last meeting due to COV 19, I would like to suggest that we reschedule for Saturday 23rd May at 2pm. Venue is still to be confirmed however if someone is happy to offer their home that would be awesome Please share this information for anyone who isn't on the Geraldton Champions Netball page.
