Pay by a ...donation (suggested donation amount is $20 a ticket). This unique experience will showcase a collection of local musicians as they share their stories through song. The songs have been exclusively written and are a personal insight in the people, experiences, memories, scenes and connections they have with the region we live in. We guarantee an absolutely unforgettable night showcasing the home-grown talent of our local musicians as they come together for a show like no other. This intimate show will be outdoors in the Queens Park Theatre Amphitheatre. We encourage you to bring picnic rugs or small seating pillows for comfort. Please no camping or elevated chairs as these will block the view of others behind you. Please contact us prior to the event if you require disabled or specialised seating, we are more than happy to arrange this. Doors will be open from 6:15pm with the show starting at 7pm sharp. 05.01.2022 Astrolabes were used to determine time and position using the sun and the stars in the night sky. Using this equipment might have been useful to guide the Bata...via on its long journey, but things turned for the worst, especially when the Captain made plans to overthrow the Commander. When the Captain decided not to care for having perfect navigation...things eventually ended badly. This Astrolabe, is about 400 years old, and was recovered from the Batavia on Morning Reef, near the Abrolhos Islands. The bricks on the base of the monument are from the 396 year old original ballast bricks from the Batavia, making them the oldest, European bricks in Australia.
