Remember to clean and disinfect toys and their containers!! Stocktake dates are 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th July from 9-12pm each day. It was a hard decision, but we want to protect the vulnerable in our community and not place any pressure on volunteers who prefer to self-isolate. 03.01.2022 To help reduce the risk of transmission of coronavirus (COVID-19) and to be proactive in protecting the community the Toy Library has decided that TOMORROW Tuesday 17th March 2020 will be the last session to borrow toys until further notice. Please come with your toys thoroughly cleaned. You will also be asked to use the cleaning station provided. You will be able to borrow toys as normal tomorrow. The toys you select will be renewed until the library reopens . We request t...hat if you’re experiencing any cold/flu-type symptoms please DO NOT attend the toy library tomorrow. Your toys will continue to be renewed. Also, if you have travelled overseas in the past 14 days or have been in close contact with a confirmed case of coronavirus, please avoid attending the toy library tomorrow. Rest assured that late fines will not be accrued over this time. Toys will not need to be returned until the toy library reopens. While you continue to borrow tomorrow which we encourage you to do here are some steps recommended by health authorities to reduce your risk of coronavirus during tomorrow’s session: - Regularly and thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water (for at least 20 seconds) or clean them with an alcohol-based hand rub. - Maintain at least 1 metre distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing. - Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth, or shaking hands with others. - Cover your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze, and disposing of used tissues immediately. - Stay at home if you feel sick. - Phone your GP first if you need medical attention.
