In order to nominate yourself for the WA Fashions on the Field competition, you must win a fashions on the field competition at a WA thoroughbred race club between 27 October 2020 and 25 October 2021.

14.01.2022 3 Madi Derrick's first city treble - the second hat-trick of the Tiarnna Robertson Racing-indentured apprentice rider's competitive career that began little ...more than six months ago - was the headline story of the first Wednesday meeting of the season at Belmont Park Perth. Derrick, who made her race debut at Geraldton Turf Club on Australia Day, steered Durrant Racing-trained mares Treat Yo Self and Showzali and Warwick racing-prepared girl Hoolahoops to Belmont Park wins. Derrick rode a Geraldton treble at what was just her second meeting, guiding Angry Annie, Push To Pass and Wee Ripper to Crayfish Coast victories. Two Western Australian metropolitan meetings into the season and Derrick is equal second on the premiership ladder with three wins, one fewer than Chris Parnham and tied with Mitchell Pateman and William Pike.

09.01.2022 UPDATE ON TED/EDDIE MCGUIRE Hi again, not sure where time has gone, it has been nearly 5 months now since Dad had his accident. Dad is doing well in his day to... day. His blood pressure still has its ups and downs as does his temp, though due to the severity of the accident, this is not unexpected. These challenges prevent Dad from being lifted into his wheelchair, but he loves watching The Chaser each day, so he isnt too bothered. Dad is aiming to be possibly the first Quadriplegic contestant on The Chaser once he is well enough he has goals, this is just one of them! I went in to see Dad last week, but he was only up for a short visit as his treatments on that day had worn him out. Dad received a few cards in the mail and he was genuinely surprised, we were both so touched by the kindness that we both shed a tear or two! Dad is very determined to get some voice back ( he will need it when on The Chaser) and is currently focusing on that, his mind is sharper than ever he remembers the times, dates etc way more than I do, nothing is slipping by him. Recently Dad had the joy of watching American Rumour online run his first trial the grace AR showed for a first ever trial certainly impressed Dad, so much so, he watched the race a few times and the smile on his face broadened each time, it was priceless pure joy. Dad could be out by Christmas, fingers crossed all going well, he has a few rehab goals to kick before that can be considered, but it is another goal, as is sorting out housing. Either way, we are all cherishing each moment with him. Anyways, thanks again for all the messages, cards, phone calls and support Dad really is appreciative of it all.
