25.01.2022 Annastacia Palaszczuk. Do the right thing. Make a decision and let Sarah Caisip attend her Dad's funeral. This is above politics. It's about leadership. The peo...ple of Queensland are with you Sarah. As is Prime Minister Scott Morrison (ScoMo). Share your support for Sarah and her family. There has not been a COVID-19 case in Canberra for over 60 days.

21.01.2022 NEW data shows six out of ten top regions for mortgage deferrals in Australia are on the Gold Coast.........The shock figures, compiled by leading credit analysis company Equifax, also show only one region outside of Queensland makes the top ten list. And there you have it - Anna Palaszczuk has completely thrown the Gold Coast economy under the bus to save her own skin. It will take years to recover from Labor mismanagement.

21.01.2022 As Ms Palaszczuk readies for the October 31 state election, it can be revealed her office has spent more than $528,000 on coronavirus polling in the past few months and hired political strategist Mike Kaiser to help craft the state’s COVID-19 economic recovery. Polling is now being used by the Queensland Labor Government as the basis for health advice - it’s bad enough that taxpayer dollars are being wasted but to risk the health of people to save your own skin is unforgivable.

20.01.2022 So therefore their bricks and mortar assets or their superannuation, if they have got any residual superannuation assets or cash or other investments, in other words upon the death of the aged person, the Commonwealth account would then receive a credit from the estate, Mr Keating said. Sooner or later the truth always comes out - Labor want to introduce death taxes via superannuation.

18.01.2022 The shutting of state borders, for an unprecedented period, costing business billions of dollars, is among the biggest economic, political and constitutional challenges our nation has faced.... Yet the High Court has put off making a decision about the legality of border closures...until November Great question posed by Adam Creighton as to why the High Court is not presiding over the question put to it as to whether or not closures are legal. Given the cost of these lockdowns you’d think there would be greater urgency!

18.01.2022 Today on National Police Remembrance Day we honour the sacrifice of our nation's fallen police officers who lost their lives protecting our communities, and we pay tribute to their families. Their legacy will be forever remembered.

15.01.2022 A Sydney father with terminal cancer has been asked to choose which of his children to see as only one of four will be able to cross the border to Queensland to visit their dying dad.... He has four children all aged under 13 who are in Sydney and have been told they will not be able to cross the border by Queensland Health authorities. Please share this with your friends. The world needs to know just how cruel Anna Palaszczuk and the Queensland Labor Goverment are.

15.01.2022 Cattle and cane are synonymous with the great State of Queensland. They even appear on our Coat of Arms. Yet the State Labor Government is determined to drive a dagger through the heart of these great industries. Our farmers have clearly been singled out with Labor's reef regulations despite many other industries also operating within the Great Barrier Reef basin. Laying poor water quality solely at the feet of our farmers and graziers through unattainable water targets is reprehensible and disingenuous.

15.01.2022 Well done Craig Kelly - there’s no greater voice of reason than you - the silence from the left when it comes to the treatment of women by Dan Andrews is hypocrisy at its finest.

14.01.2022 As you are aware, nine aged care patients were admitted to Glenferrie on 27 July. Sadly, four of these patients have since passed away. We are unable to verify the exact cause of their death, but the State has officially attributed the deaths to COVID-19, Ms Morgan wrote.... All deaths in Victoria with a positive coronavirus diagnosis are included in the state’s toll unless there is a clear alternative cause of death..... But Melbourne GPs say the reporting is not accurate. Before destroying livelihoods and freedoms you’d think the Victorian Labor government could determine the true number of Covid deaths.

14.01.2022 The funds’ latest annual reports show the highest-earning super CEO for 2018-19 was HostPlus’s David Elia, who was paid $1.19 million, while AustralianSuper boss Ian Silk earned $1.06 million and QSuper CEO Michael Pennisi was paid $1.02 million.... New regulator data shows the amount of money sitting in super climbed from $1.23 trillion in mid-2010 to $2.86 trillion today, swelling retirement fund fees. Superannuation costs $40 billion in fees and $40 billion in tax conces...sions each year. The ATO has a budget of $4 billion and centre link $6 billion. And for what - average returns from super have averaged 7% over the last 30 years, the same as the growth in house prices. $40 billion is two Bradfield schemes each year - it’s time energy and money was invested into infrastructure not paper shuffling.

11.01.2022 An under-siege Annastacia Palaszczuk has sensationally said ‘I don’t make the decisions’ when it comes to Queensland’s border farce....Meanwhile, the Chief Health Officer admits she gives exemptions on economic grounds. Pretty much says it all - unelected bureaucrats have been running the state and the country for far too long.

11.01.2022 ABC staff have voted against deferring an imminent pay rise after the Morrison government urged the public broadcaster to freeze increases to show solidarity with other public servants making sacrifices during the COVID-19 recession. What more could you expect of the hypocrites at the ABC. Always crying poor but aren’t prepared to freeze their own wages while everyone else, especially in the private sector are doing it tough.

10.01.2022 Queensland's Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young: I've given exemptions to people in entertainment and film because that’s bringing a lot of money into this state..." Tough luck though to the everyday people trying to enter the state to bury their parents or visit dying loved ones.

08.01.2022 The LNP has unveiled a plan to restore rural maternity units if elected to power later this month.....Chinchilla and Theodore will trial on-demand birthing services with a new dedicated local team of medics. This is awesome news - mother’s in regional Queensland have been neglected for too long.

07.01.2022 Community and Public Sector Union national secretary Melissa Donnelly said the decision to tie public sector wages to the private sector was the government "effectively abdicating its leadership role". Rubbish - how delusional are these people - why should bureaucrats receive pay rises in excess of those who pay them.

07.01.2022 "[A debate about] whether the Bureau of Meteorology, you know, can be trusted or not, is running at the moment. And I think, I think there is a role for Parliament and a role for government to actually be a bit more supportive of institutions." Actually the role of government is to ensure that all scientific theories be tested against observations that are measured consistently and accurately in order to validate cause and effect. It’s role is not to protect the bureaucracy.... Bureaucrats don’t seem to understand the meaning of accountability do they?

07.01.2022 "Hospitals are reporting a "concerning" decline in the number of Victorians seeking treatment for heart attacks and strokes, as well as essential cancer screening, during the state's coronavirus second wave........We know fewer people have been presenting to hospital at the first sign of stroke because they are fearful of contracting coronavirus or over-burdening our doctors and nurses," Mr O'Toole said. So why aren’t deaths from strokes, heart attacks and cancer being reported on at the daily media beat ups by state premiers. This just goes to show that the narrative being peddled by premiers that they are keeping people safe by border closures and excessive restrictions is false.

07.01.2022 When Jones had told Border he would have to leave the field earlier in the innings, his captain had goaded the proud Victorian by saying if he left he’d bring in somebody tough like a Queenslander to do the job.....Jones batted on, vomiting by the pitch and even lost control of his bladder. Later, Border said he thought he’d killed his star. Rest In Peace Dean Jones. You’re swashbuckling and irreverent attitude at a time when the West Indies ruled was the spark that reigni...ted Australian cricket and made one day cricket the spectacle it was. The grief that Australia is feeling is a testament to how much you were loved and how you inspired a generation of Australians to never say die.

06.01.2022 However, his team is looking at whether it can be used as something called a pre-exposure prophylaxis, which means it could work as a preventive before someone comes into contact with somebody with COVID-19. Hydroxychloroquine (also taken with zinc) has been used as a prophylactic for over fifty years - so long in fact that it is now out of patent. Let’s hope the stigma attached to it because Donald Trump recommended it soon ends.

06.01.2022 Andrew Charles is a Climate Scientist working for the Bureau of Meteorology. He’s also a devout Marxist, an activist with the revolutionary Trotskyist group Socialist Alternative (SAlt) and a member of the Governing Council of SAlt’s electoral front the Victorian Socialists. I wonder if the BOM will employ a statistician instead of a socialist who can do some quality assurance work around their dodgy modeling?

05.01.2022 Today I called on Queensland’s Premier and Chief Health Officer to outline why it is New South Wales can control Covid through testing and contact tracing, but Queensland can’t? NSW, under the stewardship of the Berejiklian-led Coalition Government is the gold standard for the rest of the Commonwealth when it comes to best dealing with the challenges of the Coronavirus. NSW is open for business. Its contact tracing abilities, lessened restrictions and open borders is something all other states and territories should aspire to. New South Wales' contact tracing team has continually been praised for its ability to quickly identify chains of transmission, link cases to known clusters and notify close contacts of known cases.

03.01.2022 The Queensland school year will be cut short in a frantic bid to give teachers long-promised pandemic leave in a move that has left parents fuming. Is this not a straight out bribe to teachers to win votes at the state election? Our children lost valuable hours during the lockdown earlier this year - why is their education being cut short again.

02.01.2022 Announcing the legislation, Minister for Women Gabrielle Williams said "until we start leading by example as a government and a firm decision has been made [to mandate gender quality], we can't fairly expect the private sector to do better". I’m not sure the private sector should be following any example set down by the Victorian government. In the same month the Victorian government has destroyed civil liberties its has the hypocrisy to install a gender equality commissio...ner. It would have been better off training it’s security guards about infection controls rather than diversity. Political correctness led by unelected bureaucrats and sanctioned by weak governments is destroying this country.

01.01.2022 The heartbroken family of a Bali bombing survivor have lashed out at the Queensland government’s double standards, which forced them to turn people away from their loved one’s funeral while more than 50,000 were allowed to attend State of Origin..... Funerals are a once-in-a-lifetime chance to show respect to a loved one, and people can’t travel up from Sydney to support the family in that circumstance. I can’t believe she gets away with this - she’s not keeping us safe - only scared.
