So if you have left overs from a garage sale or had a good clean out please drop your donations off at the shop between 10am - 4pm Mon to Friday or at one of our two donation bins which are located at behind the Salvation Army Church at 42 Ainsworth Street or IGA Supermarket 79 Durlacher Street. 22.01.2022 Christmas is coming . We are finalising our preparations for Christmas here at The Salvation Army in Geraldton. As always, the demand for our services is high and we anticipate that well over 100 families will come to us for help this festive season. Each year, just before Christmas, we give our food vouchers, Christmas hampers and toys.... We realise that it is not just our clients who have had a tough year, but also many local businesses are struggling. So, if you are able, would you be willing to help us support our community with some Christmas joy? You can help us by: Giving a monetary donation we will use the money to purchase food and toys and vouchers (all monetary donations are tax deductible) Donating food for us to make up into hampers (Suggested donations - Christmas cakes and puddings, chips, chocolate, lollies, nuts, custard, tinned fruit, soft drink, sweet and savoury biscuits, gravy, jellies, bon-bons) Making up a hamper (approximate value of food $70) see photo. Please contact me (number below) if you are able to help, we are happy to come to your business to collect food, toys or hampers from you. We are also looking for volunteers to help pack hampers and sort toys on Thursday 17th and Friday 18th December if you have any keen staff members!
