16.01.2022 If you have a child between the ages of 5 and 10, bring them over for A BLAST with Gerringong Jets Cricket Club. This will be run at Gerry Emery Oval on a Friday afternoon for 60 to 90 minutes depending on whether you're a Junior BLASTER or Master BLASTER.

07.01.2022 Hey team, We have a "Learn how to score" session on tonight at the Bowlo 7pm upstairs room if you are interested in using the new cricket scoring app. An interactive session scoring an actual game watched. Come down for a beer and to learn. Please bring either a tablet or your phone to use in the session.

05.01.2022 GCC SEASON 2020-21 REGOS - TIME TO REGISTER!! SEASON COMMENCES 17TH OCTOBER 2020 JUNIORS & SENIORS WOOLWORTHS JUNIOR BLASTERS at GERRINGONG... Junior Blasters is for kids new to cricket with participants building their skills through fun, game-based activities. The games are designed for small groups to ensure every child gets a go, allowing them to test and learn new skills. When they have mastered the basics, they will be ready to graduate to Master Blasters where they can play modified games of cricket. WOOLWORTHS MASTER BLASTERS at GERRINGONG Master Blasters is a super fun, social, safe, cricket program for boys and girls aged 7 to 10. The program is much shorter than traditional cricket, with a maximum of 90 minutes playing time. All the equipment is supplied and the games take place at the same venue each week, at a local cricket club or community centre. When does it take place? Junior Blasters & Master Blasters Programs Starts Friday 23rd October 2020 from 4pm. JUNIORS JUNIORS Junior Cricket Stage One (U10 and U11 - i.e. must not turn 11 until after 31 August; Add 2 years for girls) - focus on participation and skill development - games are two hours. Junior Cricket Stage Two (U12 and U13 - i.e. must not turn 13 until after 31 August; Add 2 years for girls) - Out is out format but more players participate due to batting retirement and shared bowling/keeping opportunities. Junior Cricket Stage Three (U14 to U18 - i.e. must not turn 18 until after 31 August; Add 2 years for girls) - traditional format with 50m boundaries - more runs scored. We cater for all ability levels in Seniors & all age groups in Juniors. Registrations for these are all Online. SENIORS For season 2020-21 we will be entering teams in the following SCDCA grade competitions: 2nd Grade: Played on Turf wickets all games are 45 over 1 day matches through out the season. 3rd Grade: Played on Synthetic wickets all games are 45 over 1 day matches throughout the season. 4th Grade: Played on Synthetic wickets all games are 40 over 1 day matches through out the season. Games are more aimed at fun, participation-based cricket with a number of batting & bowling restrictions implemented to ensure everyone gets a go.
