24.01.2022 So to celebrate the last few hours of the #womeninleague round I wanted to share some pics of our very own Sophie Purcell (Jenna Abbott) #gamefacephotography who has played Tackle Footy with our Club since the U8’s in 2017. She is a proud member of our U11’s squad and makes a great contribution at every training session and game that she has ever played. Congrats Sophie and we are so glad to have you as a junior lion

18.01.2022 Big day of senior footy tomorrow at Michael Cronin oval kicking off with some junior league matches from 9am. Best of luck to all our junior teams tomorrow. BUT FIRST...don’t forget to watch Friday night football tonight to see some of our talented players alongside Ruan Sims for the women in league round special. Channel 9 have already given us some amazing footage which will be shared on our Facebook page later this evening. GJMRLFC is very honoured to have our players wearing the red white and blue on national tv so well done to the players lucky enough to be involved.

Recognising that Jodie has been the driving force behind girls participation in league tag at Gerringong, the committee unanimously voted to name this inaugural award after Jodie for her contribution to league tag. 15.01.2022 Draw for this weekend please note the under 10’s and 11’s are playing Friday night. There will be plenty of hot food available, however due to being a kids sport no alcohol is to be brought into the ground. See you at the game

14.01.2022 This year’s Gerringong Rugby League Football Club Golf Day is set down for Monday 28th December. This year will be a three person Ambrose with a modified forma...t. Tee off times prior to 8-30am will be for groups looking to play the full 18 holes. Those teeing off after 8.30am will play in a 9 hole competition. You can put your teams through in the comment section below or place them on the sign-up sheet at Gerringong Hotel with your preferred tee off time. You will receive Breakfast on arrival at the course. Due to COVID the presentation this year will be back at the Clubhouse , with lunch being served on arrival, as well as 2 complimentary drinks. You will also receive a Gerringong Lions Golf Day Cap. Cost is $60.00 a head. Carts are not included in this price and you’ll need to ring, book and pay for the cart if you require one. Number for Golf Club 4234 3333. Get in early if you would like a cart.

07.01.2022 A few of our juniors were lucky enough to get in an off season training session with Raiders Sam Williams last Friday @williams_297 Sam took the Under 9s (2020) and coach Matt @mattrburke through some new training drills for 90minutes. The boys were so excited!! Sam was impressed with our lions work ethic and our beautiful grounds @gerringonglions One of our older superstars Hayden also had a personalised training session which he says was very valuable. Sam offers private coaching sessions to individuals and groups and although he is based in Canberra a family tie gave this group the chance to bring him to our beautiful town. For interested coaches/managers, the committee can assist in arranging more sessions in future
