22.01.2022 Remembrance Day will be proceeding on the 11th November 2020 at the Headland Memorial, commencing at 10.55am. The ceremony will be held under a Covid Safety Plan. Registering at the Headland on the day might be slow so we suggest anyone wishing to attend arrive early. ... QR readers will be available as well as sign-in sheets. Hope to see a few of you there. 18.01.2022 A big thank you to Gareth Ward and the NSW State Govt for providing the Sub Branch with a grant to cover the cost of the publication of a book on the history of the Memorial Hall. The book will be launched late in 2021 to commemorate the Hall Centenary. Congratulations to the author, Robyn Florance.

11.01.2022 Due to current Covid restrictions it is impossible for the Sub-branch to hold our normal Dawn Service on Anzac Day at the memorial on the Headland. A scaled down service will be held at the Gerringong Town Hall with a maximum of 150 attendees. Attendance will be by invite only and Sub-branch members will be limited to one guest only. Those attending are asked to arrive at the Town Hall by 5:30am to allow time for registration. The event will be a covid safe event. Gerringong residents are encouraged to observe the dawn driveway vigil that was so successful last year. We deeply regret having to make this decision but we had no choice. Hopefully next year will be back to normal. If there are any changes with restrictions easing we will notify the community immediately. Lest we Forget. Fiona Phillips MP Gareth Ward

11.01.2022 Robyn Florence has presented the Sub Branch with a stunning book entitled "The Victoria Cross" by Michael Madden. The book will be held in the Sub Branch library and available for viewing. Robyn, here with Mike O'Leary, is the author of the soon to be published book on the 100 year history of the Gerringong Soldiers Memorial Hall.
