17.01.2022 My daughter Roxy makes the Chocolate meditation cookies for the kids at surf skate and meditate camp, which starts today. After an hour of skateboarding, we rest with some fruit for morning tea, then quiet the mind with a cookie eating meditation. The kids consider their favourite ingredient (usually the chocolate!) and we consider how and where it was made, then give thanks to the producer, such as the farmer at the cacoa plantation.... Then after much suspense, they take a bight! I’m grateful for Roxy giving her skill and love to the kids via her delicious cookies. #mindfulness #gratitute
