22.01.2022 The Gessner 8-Row fertiliser applicator was designed and constructed in June/July this year for Robert Ingram at Emerald, Queensland. I spoke to him yesterday and he is extremely happy with the performance of his new toolbar. This rig features a 178 x 178 x 9mm toolbar with Cat headstock. Fitted to the bar are eight 762mm diameter x 6mm thick heavy-duty coulters with low draft fertiliser tines fitted at the rear for minimal soil disturbance. The fertiliser is supplied to each 1 metre row units by a Kubota SH1150 pneumatic seeder. This is a very efficient rig. Both with the volume of fertiliser being applied and ensuring it is applied deep into the subsoil where it will be most effective.

13.01.2022 Last week we visited a good customer of Gessner in Mungindi, NSW. Sowing is almost complete. This farmer has several Gessner machines including our Scarimaster, Landmaster and Patriot Planters. This 36 metre Landmaster which has 90 units on 400mm spacings can sow up to 2000 acres of wheat in a single day.

03.01.2022 This Gessner 12 metre parallelogram twin disc opener on 250mm spacings was picked up from our factory last Wednesday. By the look of these photos this Darlington Point farmer has already put it to work. Thanks to Codemo Machinery Services in Griffith, NSW for selling this machine. Our planters may cost a little more than the imported equivalent, but the real difference is 5 years from now! There is nothing but quality and the highest level of workmanship in these machines. Some farmers tell us they can get up to three times the life on our bushing and other wear components.
