19.01.2022 We usually avoid hopping on social media campaigns because we prefer not to get caught up in the moment, but instead focus on deeper, underlying issues. However..., sometimes symbols matter. Were blacking out our social pages in recognition of the significance of this moment, and because if we dont stop, reflect and listen, we wont be able to get to the deeper truths underpinning racial injustice and racial inequality in the US, Australia and around the world. Until we can come to terms with the deeper truths of our history, we will continue to see moments like this one. Well be using our channels to share and promote ideas that do the work of facing up to our history - for better and for worse. Time does not heal all wounds. Finding justice today means facing the injustices of yesterday.
