25.01.2022 Had a good Rnd 1 of Slotworx V8’s & Rnd 2 of TCM last night at North Bris Slots with top qualifying in both classes. Had some great heats 1st & 2nd in the V8’s and having controller issues in the final and just made up the numbers coming 5th. I had a great first Rnd of the 1/32 Plafit TCM’s coming away with the clean sweep.
24.01.2022 First two tables bolted together...
23.01.2022 So after much deliberation I’ve decided to change the track layout slightly. I’ve decided to lengthen the main straight by adding in a new section. This means the dogleg at the rear has been removed. I feel this will make the track more flowing and have a higher average speed. With this extra main straight length the racers will have more room as well as it is now 7.2 mtrs from end to end. I haven’t done much in the past month but over the next few weeks I intend to get back into it.

19.01.2022 Finally made all the tables and roughly laid the pieces into position. It’s not going to be a fast track, rather a technical drive I feel. Puts into perspective how big it is.

14.01.2022 Had a great night at North Bris Slots taking the Double in the A finals. Started the night with a couple of ordinary heats in the Porsches with a 3rd & 4th to qualify me on pole in the B final. Taking the win and putting me i a starting position of P5 for the A final. A bit of luck staying out of trouble in the race and great fuel economy put me in a great position and be lucky enough to take the win. The GT3 class was fun with some very fast qualifying. A personal best q...ualifying of 7.71 was only fast enough to net me a 3rd fastest but in the heats went great with 2 wins and a drive straight to pole in the A final. Once again staying out of trouble and keeping the big Merc on track, fuel economy once again put me in a strong position only having to pit once to everyone else's 2 stops, its hard to beat someone when the fuel economy is great. 13.01.2022 Finally got to start back on the track today. Routed the final bits out for the pit lane changer and Starting line spots. Tomorrow hopefully make a couple of table frames and for the first time lay it all out and get to see the whole track for the first time.
12.01.2022 Doing a few laps this morning and got into the 7's with a 7.958. Very happy with the progress, can't wait to get the boys over for the inaugural race meet. Should be a fun track to race on once fully gripped up.
