24.01.2022 It’s International Women’s Day - A great time to reflect on where we are and the journey that still lay ahead to achieve real equality. Community and aged care ...nurses, child care staff and other community services are often female dominated areas of employment, with their pay no where near what it should be. We know many aren’t doing it solely for the renumeration, however they still have responsibilities and bills to pay! #eachforequal Mike Rennie for Division 5 See more

06.01.2022 I'm Mike Rennie, an Independent candidate for Division 5 in Logan. To make more positive changes in our community we need to change who we vote for! The ...former council took its eye off the ball . Waste and misconduct, our money used or excessive vehicle expenses, councillors lunches paid for, the list goes on. The actions of the former council doesn't pass the pub test! Money and resources need to be better managed and the waste needs to stop, so communities can have better access to programs and support. Community needs to be looking at more ways of working together rather than having all seperate agendas and resources being under utilised. We need real change for a better community, someone standing up for what is right, listening and taking real action, passionate, driven, energetic and making things happen. We need more for our seniors, for our youth, more to bring cultures, business and families together and celebrate what we have in common. With collaboration and unity we have strength, direction and opportunity to move in a positive direction that will make real change in our community. Mike Rennie for Division 5 https://mikerennie.now.site - independent of party politics. Berrinba Crestmead Marsden Waterford West - Logan it's time for change, a change for the better! It's time we got our priorities back on track.
