11.01.2022 Happy birthday to the one and only Jue Ly!! Jue Ly heads up the Get Equip'd program in Miri and has been continuing to support families and children with disabilities who are part of our therapy programs. Though we are not able to travel, the programs have been able to continue because of her dedication and commitment and we couldn't be more proud of her! We can't wait to see you again Jue Ly. Thank you for all you do, going above and beyond as always to improve the lives o...f children with disabilities in Miri. Happy birthday to you!!

04.01.2022 Well it has been a long time since we lasted posted about the adventures of the Get Equip'd team - both here in Perth, Western Australia and in Miri, Malaysia. * Today is still National Volunteer Week (18-24 May, 2020) and we just wanted to say thank you to every volunteer that has contributed their time over the past few years - enabling the community of Miri to benefit from the generosity of time and effort by each and every volunteer. * Get Equip'd operates solely on a vol...unteer basis - none of the directors, Dayna, Leo or Eddie are paid and many of the Healthy Strides Foundation team also volunteer with us a couple of times a year. * The program is still operational but with the Covid-19 restrictions we have had to put on hold the programs we had booked in for June and October. We had also planned on attending and presenting at the 8th National Early Childhood Intervention conference to be held in Miri in June 2020. * We will be back either later this year or in 2021 with a full crew and we look forward to being back in Miri again soon. It is amazing to see this young boy continuing to progress and what a long wa...y he has come too!
