22.01.2022 Are you like me? Did you neglect your continuous brew kombucha over the school holidays? So now you have really sour kombucha? Here's what I do to sort it out... 1) The SCOBY is now too thick and could suffocate my brew - I take out all but a small peice and throw the rest away (if you're keen you can marinate and dehydrate the leftover SCOBY to make jerky) 2) I use some of the sour kombucha to soak the dates that I'm using to make protein balls. 3) I add 2 (maybe 3) batches of sweet tea and then taste it regularly over the next week or two until I'm happy with the flavour. 4) Then it's back to my regular routine of topping up every couple of weeks

02.01.2022 I found this proverb a couple of days ago and I'm sharing it because I think it is so true. No amount of supplements, drugs, alternative medicine treatments, western medicine treatments or surgeries will make up for a poor diet. A diet high in WHOLE plant foods, plus drinking plenty of clean water is the best thing you can do to improve your health. Add in the extra benefit of fermented vegetables to your diet and you have a powerhouse of health enhancing properties.
