As the name ‘Euphonium’ suggests this wine is a beautiful composition of shiraz from up to 50-year-old vines and blended with cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc from selected vineyards from Eden and Barossa Valleys. Dating back to 1888, the Henschke Family Brass Band was founded and featured wonderful wind instruments such as a B flat euphonium (a large brass wind instrument), cornet and E flat clarinet. This wine commemorates the instruments that were imported to Henschke Family in the late 1800’s, where they remain today.
