22.01.2022 ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RESUME FOR SPELLING MISTAKES There is nothing worse than sending off your resume to apply for a job you were SUPER excited for, only to later realise you spelt something incorrectly. Not only does this look bad, but it also shows the hiring manager you don’t double-check your work and hence that is what they could be getting if they hired you. Download the program Grammarly.com, use spell checker in Word or ask family and friends to review before you hit send. Better to be safe than sorry.

20.01.2022 The key to achieving great success is that your passion to succeed must match your effort. Each morning, write down your Top 3 Goals. Write at least one thing you will do before the end of the day to reach those goals. Take 5 minutes to imagine yourself completing the tasks and accomplishing your goals, really visualise yourself already completing each goal. Do this daily, then repeat for new goals! You will be amazed at what you start achieving!

19.01.2022 If you’re like me, you want nothing more than to create a life that your future self is going to LOVE. Here are 3 things to do today, that your future self will thank you for: 1) Commit to something, anything...one thing. Yes, it sounds boring I know, but all too often we um and ahh about should we shouldn't we. If we actually just said Yes more often, we would realise we can make great strides when we actually try. Plus you will respect yourself for committing to something a...nd your curiosity will grow further. Try it! 2) Read at least 5-10 pages of a book a night. If that's too ambitious, aim for 1 book per month. At the end of 12 months, that's a minimum of 12 new books you've read and a world of knowledge gained. PS. If you struggle to sit down and read, I've got you covered...Audiobooks are your best friend. Becoming a mum has limited my lazy weekends snuggling in bed with a book, so when I can't do it, I'm listening to audiobooks cleaning the house, doing the washing or driving in the car....HEAVEN! 3) Set Goals, even micro-goals. I'm a big goal setter, love writing things down, love crossing them off, pure satisfaction. If big goals scare you, no worries try micro-goals. Set small tangible goals which can lead you towards your big goal and gain satisfaction the closer you get. Pretty soon, that big goal of graduating from uni, moving up the corporate ladder or even implementing some self-development strategies will be here before you know it and you'll have nothing but gratitude for all your hard work!
