14.01.2022 Due to unforeseen circumstances the launch of Get Mapped has been delayed until November. We had hoped to be up an running prior to this Melbourne Cup Weekend for the reopening of the 4WD tracks in the High Country but factors beyond our control have prevented us from doing so. This delay means that Get Mapped will have more time to prepare for a bigger launch. Watch this space for more Fact Files and some Map Profiles we are about to release as we count down to the launch.... Hope everyone enjoys their adventures this coming weekend. Check out this Map Profile of their Yarra Valley-West Gippsland Adventure Map... this is the one to get if you are planning a trip to Bunyip State Park for your 4WD! DID YOU KNOW?... Robin physically field checks all his maps to make sure they are correct. He follows all the 4WD and Walking tracks with a GPS to ensure accuracy. This particular map utilised a Garmin GPS, Mountain Bike, Toyota Hilux, Hannibal Rooftop Tent and Shanks’ Pony. 06.01.2022 Geoscience Australia's decision will mean no more printed 1:250K Paper Topographic Maps (and others) will be produced from December 13th. Geoscience Australia maps will be available as a Free download that you can print yourself. Get Mapped is looking into being able to provide both services upon launch.
