25.01.2022 In Australia, some couples like to include a "Welcome to Country" acknowledgement at the start of their ceremony... Here's one that I recommend in my book, Marketing Made Easy for Celebrants: "I wish to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the the land we stand on today, and I pay my respects to the Elders past and present."

Some are sheltered; others are shaded; some have lawn, some are for surfers, and some have rocky nooks that look great in photos. One in particular is perfect at dusk, when you can watch a full moon rise over the water shortly after you've said "I do." Très romantique!
05.01.2022 Couples ask me why I became a marriage celebrant... Partly because 5 years ago I couldn't find a "fun, quirky, adventurous" celebrant here in Australia. Instead I found ELVIS PRESLEY at the Graceland Wedding Chapel, Las Vegas , which was FANTASTIC FUN ~ it's a ceremony and celebration my husband and I still reminisce about today.

03.01.2022 During a reconnaissance visit to a wedding venue I noticed ducks everywhere. Ducks always hang out in pairs, and symbollically represent transition (due to migratory nature). A great omen for a wedding, yes?!
