25.01.2022 So today I managed to finish this cheery one. Lots of layers, imagination and love have gone into this one. I hope it brightens up your day as much as it has mine

24.01.2022 Another beautiful message from a very lovely little love bird customer, thank you. So nice of you to take the time to let me know you appreciate them #handmadewithlove These were her kind words My dear old Pop (my dad’s Dad) had an orange canary in a cage when I was very young. He’d bring it in every night and cover the cage and take it outside during the day. I had forgotten this little birdie until I saw this one today and it triggered all those very old memories!!! Thankyou they are very adorable xx

19.01.2022 Visitors from Japan say that the pink colour of Lake Bumbunga, at Lochiel, means good luck. It was my good luck to see a wonderful photo posted by a Facebook friend that I based this painting on. It is just down the road and I love getting a glimpse of its wonderful colour when I drive past. It will be available, along with many other awesome works, at our SALA Wide Open Spaces Exhibition in the Arts Collective Clare Valley - Art at Auburn Gallery at 8 Mill St, Clare. Open from Weds to Mon 10.30 to 3. Your good luck is you have a whole month to pop in and see them all #sagreat #lakebumbunga #ilovepink

16.01.2022 I have enjoying playing with beautiful coloured wool again this week. I have made a bigger piece with similar sunset colours as last time and will get it to the framers this week, then it will be for sale. I have even washed up some of our own lovely merino wool, that hubby Craig brought me fresh from the sheep’s back, to use in my next felted picture. I can see this getting out of hand very quickly, I made need a bigger spare room #newhobby

16.01.2022 Stay well and safe everyone! Positive note: due to time on my hands, my paint brushes are coming out of storage. I thought first, I should clean my cupboards, but really, why would I want to do that? #kickcovid19intheguts #stayhomeifyoucan

15.01.2022 A nice little surprise to sell ‘Morning Song’ while working in the Arts Collective Clare Valley - Art at Auburn Gallery today. I get embarrassed and delighted all at once when I sell my things. I really need to pick up my brushes again

10.01.2022 I am not sure if you know I have three sisters, we are fairly well spread out across Australia. One in Adelaide, one in Queensland, one in Melbourne and me here in Brinkworth, these little birds are to show my love for my three sisters. We are overdue to be together. I love you and miss you, can’t wait for our next sisters catch up. They are in the post so watch out for them! Until we can be together again, love you girls Rosslyn, Suzanne and Jasmin.

09.01.2022 This popped up in my memories today, Monica is one of my favourite Australian authors and she was charming. I love thinking that my little kookaburras are in her attic in Dublin, where she writes her wonderful books, I like to imagine she thinks of her hometown of Clare whenever she catches a glimpse of them

09.01.2022 ‘Bunnie’s Bedtime’ is now beautifully framed and ready for sale. This is needle felted with fine wool and lots of love. If you would like to have a look, it is hanging in the Arts Collective Clare Valley - Art at Auburn SALA Exhibition, ‘Wide Open Spaces’ in the Clare Art House, 8 Mill St, Clare. For the love of bunnies, get in there!

09.01.2022 With a lot of encouragement from my beautiful younger sister Jasmin to paint Frida Kahlo, I have finally ‘got back on the horse’ and put brush to canvas again. ‘Fridalicious’ is my interpretation of the much painted artist. My grandchildren were very amused when they walked in and saw the funny woman on my easel, they even started drawing her in chalk on their cement patio, they crack me up! If you want to get your Mexican on, she is for sale and would look pretty funky up on the wall. She measures 40 x 50cm and is on ready to hang canvas with a tough gloss coating. If you just want to get close and personal she might be hanging in the Clare Rotary Art Exhibition from the 17th to the 23rd of May with lots of other wonderful works, she’d love to see you there

08.01.2022 Amongst a patch in the garden, that never gets watered and with very little rain this year, I found this sweet little larkspur flowering. What a beautiful little battler.

05.01.2022 This is my possie today, doing my shift in the Art at Auburn - Gallery in the Clare Art House. A lovely day, now to find my mojo which has been sadly lacking the last few months. Mmmmm what to paint?

01.01.2022 So delighted that ‘Keeper Of The Vines’ has found a home in the award winning Clarevale Cottage B&B and Short Term Accommodation right here in the beautiful Clare Valley. I painted this showcasing kookaburras and vines in Clare and was hoping it would stay in the area, so I am chuffed.
