24.01.2022 Some gorgeous veggies got the wonderful guys @harvestfeast . Eggs tomatoes and cucumbers for us (finally getting some ripe tomatoes !) with the markets pausing for a while we are looking at ways to continue getting produce to everyone. We encourage everyone to give growing your own veggies a go and come together as a community in these challenging times, look out for one another, love one another, share with each other

15.01.2022 After our lovely little #tasmanianholiday at #cradlemountain brad decided to get himself #appendicitis and spend another holiday in hospital! He is recovering well but I am afraid to say the #marketgarden is definitely looking neglected with two kiddies and my other life as a #nurse still needing my attention as well as my beautiful at home patient I think we will be a little light on the veggies this season. Plenty of garlic still and hoping for a speedy recovery before #harvesttime. Thanks to the epic staff at #royalhobarthospital for holding him in safe hands :)

15.01.2022 #garlic planting day made 1000 times easier with our #wwoofers who are with us for the foreseeable future. Not a bad place to be #stayingathome. I wanted to plant heaps of garlic this year but I accidentally sold most of it.....whoops we are trying two new types Italian and Spanish Rojo plus the usual Tassie Purple

It was lovely to be outside in the after a pretty big break from the garden for me. Also catching up with a friend who helped me weed the dreaded sorrel as we chatted. Nothing like some good garden therapy to lighten the soul!
