24.01.2022 Hello everyone It has been a busy week for us and our children have been learning lots about Sustainability. The preschooler children are always monitoring/ watering their indoor plants, also using recycled cardboard box instead of paper to enhance and progress there literacy and numeracy skills. Our babies have been exploring lots of colours through creative arts, and also putting in work with cleaning the toys. Toddlers collected leaves and branches to create a Leaf colour collage. We believe it’s important for children to practice at a young age, ways of looking after the environment, Reusing and Recycle items and also enjoying the work that they do. #sustainabilityweek #recycle #reduce #reuse

16.01.2022 Sustainability Week 2 Sustainable living is trying to live in a way that reduces, or lessens, our use of the Earth's natural resources. This means using less water, electricity, and recycling materials such as paper, glass, alluminium, metal, plastic and stones. Take a look at what our children have made so far with their own recycled materials. Babies decorated recycled CDs to hang around their classroom and also watered their indoor plants. The toddlers, have been wa...tering their outdoor veggie garden and used recycled plastic bottles, straws and plastic lids to create a beautiful Recycle Flower Vase. Our preschoolers contributed in painting leaves they found outdoor and printed them on paper. #staysustainable #creativearts #imagination #reduce #reuse #recycle

14.01.2022 Reading to young children is proven to improve cognitive skills and help along the process of cognitive development. When you begin reading aloud to children, it essentially provides them with background knowledge on their young world, which helps them make sense of what they see, hear, and read. Way to go to our two preschoolers for memorising the sentences in the book and reading it to their peers. #storytime #languagelearning #interaction #whatsinmylunchbox

02.01.2022 Nature Week (26/05/21) Nature provides countless opportunities for discovery, creativity and problem-solving. We believe at Get Set Grow Interaction with natural environments allows children to learn by doing and experiment with ideas. Our children in all age group classes, participated in creating their own Nature experiences. Through science experiment, painting leaves outdoor, discovering different textures of nature materials leaf and lots more. Even so some child...ren used natural rock/stones to develop on their counting skills. It was a fun based week full of creativity and excitement. We also encouraged our children to be inquisitive about bugs, animals and plants without disturbing them, so they can learn that all creatures have a natural home where they belong. We extended on this learning experience by creating a Nature Box.
