25.01.2022 Well, whether you believe covid or not, it has really turned some areas completely upside down. As restrictions were easing a few weeks ago, the prospect of running the Touch Football competition was looking like a possibility. Now with recent events and the tightening of restrictions, I have made the hard decision NOT to hold the event this year . Should the pandemic we are currently in manages to subside with enough time, I will try and hold gala evenings for different a...ges. I want to apologise to the kids as this is not a decision I have made easily. Unfortunately this is something I have no way of getting around and I am not willing to put my familys or yours at risk. Thanks for your understanding and worse case, see you all again next year. Stay safe.

With restrictions slowly being eased and many sports due to return, it is looking like this season of touch football will go ahead. Currently looking at all restrictions and what must be done to be able run the competition. Hopefully everything will continue to settle down and this years season can go ahead. ... 17.01.2022 Hi everyone. As most of you are aware, my son has a rare strain of Leukaemia. Id like to thank all those who have helped with this competition this year. I absolutely love seeing the kids having fun but unfortunately my focus has not been on touch to the extent of the last few years. For this I would like to apologise. ... This week I have to fly to Melbourne with my son for treatment that has just become available in Australia. Up until a month ago, we would of had to fly to Seattle in the states. I will not be there this week however Chantel Laird and head referee David Davenport along with the assistance of Steve Morley and Dylan Connors, will ensure that all games run smoothly. I thank you for your understanding in this tough time for my family. One last thing, going into week 7. Please keep kids off the soccer goals and nets. 17.01.2022 Good luck to all teams tonight. Just to clarify finals for everyone- this weeks positions for first week of finals was based on tries scored. Position after tonight based on tried scored tonight. Next week the 2 teams that win with the most tries will play the grand final the following week. Then the third winning team will play the highest try scoring losing team and remaining 2 teams will play for wooden spoon. This is a social comp soI have tried to mix up way to GF away from the norm. Ultimately the best teams should make the GF but in sports anything can happen. Once again Good Luck everyone.

As most of you are aware, my son has been battling a rare strain of Leukaemia for the last 7 months which caused a few administrative challenges for last touch football season. As of 3 days ago he has entered into remission. Thanks to everyone for your understanding and support through this difficult time.
