24.01.2022 The 6th Home workout program is now on the YouTube channel.... This session is a guided trail run/hike around Sydneys Harbour Foreshore. There are 3 options for this session, Group 1 - 4.5-5km, Group 2 8-9km and Group 3 11-13km. This is a beautiful trail with plenty of scenic lookouts of the harbour, even a run around a castle.... 23.01.2022 Morning Boot camp athletes, There is still thick smoke this morning, with a strong smell and poor visability like yesterday. I apologise but we cant train outdoors in these conditions so I am cancelling the morning session. Ill also update on Whatsapp now. If you know of someone who either isnt on this chat - or is unlikely to check - please txt/message them. Very sorry guys, hopefully this is the last of the smoke/air pollution..... see you next week

22.01.2022 Due to the incoming rain, we are cancelling the 0845 Boot camp session at Artarmon today. The undercover area there will almost certainly be wet (possibly flooded), making training unsuitable.

19.01.2022 Great session for the City Boot Camp. Some fast speed sections followed by stairway to hell, every set of stairs at Walsh Bay and back to the Domain. Nice 45min lunchtime session.....

18.01.2022 Hi Athletes, I apologise for the late notice, but I would like to invite you and your partners/families to the GET TUFF XMAS party, to be held on Friday the 13th from 1800-2030 (possibly longer). The venue for the Xmas apathy is the "Flat Rock Beer Cafe", located at Naremburn shops. We have hired the upstairs room so there will be plenty of space to fit everyone in, maybe even enough room to do some push-ups. I have put $400 behind the bar and hope to... buy you all a drink to say thank you for another great year of training. 17.01.2022 Nice lunch time run with the city group. I forget to set the GPS at the start so distance is incorrect but was a fast pace to Rushcutters Bay via Woolamaloo, upper body strength on the chin bars and back via Kings Cross and William St. Well done lads!!!

15.01.2022 There are some TUFF sessions planned for the post Xmas recovery for those Desperado athletes who need a fix.... there will be a run based session from Gore Hill Oval (meet location back car park by kids playground) from 0600-0700 on Friday the 27th. There will also be a run based session on Tuesday the 31st from Milsons PT (Bridge fun session) as well as a strength based circuit at Bicentennial Oval at 0800-0900. Cost of these sessions is $15/session..... hope to see you there.....

14.01.2022 Hi Athletes, I hope you and your families are all well and have adjusted to the COVID 19 restrictions...... Due to the new restrictions placed on outdoor gatherings last night by the PM, we are now postponing all Boot Camp Training until these restrictions are removed. What does that mean to your fitness regime (and possibly your sanity if you have kids homeschooling :) I am still offering personal training for those that want to train on a one to one... basis. These sessions are conducted in your home/garden or in a local green area near your location. If you are interested in this then please contact me for more information. Online Training I will be offering online training in 2 formats during this isolation period, Video programs and Zoom Group classes.Video programs will be added twice/week to the GETTUFF youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/GETTUFFTRAINING/videos (every Tuesday and Thursday) and will be a mix of strength and cardio programs, as well as some detailed running routes. These sessions will be between 30-55mins duration and will work on a honesty PAYG format. For each session you complete, we ask $15/session. This will allow you to pick and choose which workouts suit your fitness needs.....I am setting up the zoom classes this week and aim to be ready by Thursday to run these. If you are interested in joining for Zoom classes, please contact me with your preference of cardio or strength based training and your availability.I will be updating training videos and zoom sessions via the FB page .https://www.facebook.com/gettufftraining/ This current COVID 19 Situation is unique and no one really knows what the full effect will be or how long this isolation period will last. 13.01.2022 City Athletes, I am sorry but we will have to cancel todays boot camp session (1230-1315) again due to the smoke pollution in town. I was hoping the wind would have cleared it away but it is still bad and a health warning has been released by the Bureau of Meteorology recommending people dont exercise outside. Apologies guys.....

13.01.2022 Happy New Years all!!!! I am leaving tomorrow to run a Paraglider course near the Snowys for a week. We have already had one location move due to fires and if this new spot (Bright) gets threatened, then I will cancel and be home earlier. Have a great time with family and friends and I look forward to training with you again in 10 days time....

12.01.2022 Morning athletes, sorry to inform you that we are cancelling all outdoor training today till midday. The smoke is by far the worst today than previous days and it is a serious health risk to train outside today. If the wind clears the smoke by midday, we will continue with the city boot camp as planned. If the smoke is still thick and present by 1115, we will also cancel the city lunch time boot camp. Apologies for any inconvenience caused......

11.01.2022 Big week of training this week..... started with PT sessions all pushing PBs in strength gains.... Milsons Pt then pushed out a 9km run this morning up some hilly terrain (including bush track), Artarmon army smashed a Tabata BW strength session with cardio box finish and City Boot Camp tackled an epic TRX and battle Rope condition workout..... all PT and Boot Camp athletes can expect similar sessions for the rest of the week.......

08.01.2022 Morning Athletes, unfortunately we have to cancel all outdoor training this morning till midday, due to todays smoke pollution. It is worse today than ever before (despite no BOM health warning). We will evaluate the conditions at midday and if the smoke has cleared out, run the Cory Boot Camp session. If it is still bad at midday then we will cancel the rest of the outdoor sessions for the day.

06.01.2022 After a week of smoke polluted air and extreme heat, it was nice to wake up to clear conditions for a gorgeous run around the foreshore. 7.7km of undulated gentle hills, birthday pushups and a couple of cheeky chin ups, what a way to start the day.......

This session can be adapted via a short loop (5km) or a long loop (7.8km) whether it be a trail run or hike with friends/family.. 05.01.2022 First early morning bush track run since daylight savings went back and what a glorious morning it was..... brilliant group of athletes who smashed out upper body strength training and plenty of vertical meters climbed on the trails.....

01.01.2022 Workout 5 is a guided Run/Hike through the bush trails around the St Leonards, Artarmon, Lane Cove, Greenwich, Wollstencraft Bush tracks and foreshore. The run/hike can be scaled to a 5-6km, 8-9km or 12-13km distance with the majority of the route on trail sections.
