24.01.2022 I have been a little quiet lately on Facebook, but I have been really busy completing the rebuild of the www.glutenfreefinder.com.au website ... and it really is a rebuild, not a makeover. Since launch, there have been so many things that I have wanted to change, and over the coming weeks I will make some posts regarding some of the bigger changes ... I have added a Product Review section (for the public to list and review Gluten Free products), simplified the rating system (...some old reviews have not been converted to the new format yet, so they may not show "star ratings" until they are migrated), registering with using Facebook now even faster ... and many more changes will be announced and explained later. Over the coming weeks many people will be taking off for School Holidays, so dont forget to head over to the website and use the interactive map to look for options along your chosen route ... and I will try to share a listing each day during the holidays, it may be a popular venue, a product that is suitable for travels, or even a venue that looks good but no one has reviewed yet ... and we need your reviews ! So head over to the site, let your friends know, and also leave some feedback on the changes ... especially if I have broken something on the site and not noticed ;)

19.01.2022 If you haven't tried the new recipe Helga's Continental Bakehouse Gluten Free "Traditional Wholemeal", do it .. now :) I have had mixed experiences with Abbotts Village bread, and on first try of the new Helgas, I must say, I was pleasantly surprised, LARGE slices, fluffy, yummy. This is a seriously good bread. Tell your friends !... #glutenfree

12.01.2022 Foddies Camberwell is now open! We're at 393 Camberwell Road, Camberwell. Our hours are: Mon - Fri: 7am - 3.30pm Sat - Sun: 8am - 3.30pm... As usual, our kitchen closes half an hour before we do. Get on down to get your hands on some delish LoFo, Gluten Free goodness!

12.01.2022 The reason for building the Gluten Free Finder website was the need for Coeliacs to be able to share their experiences, positive and negative, so that other Coeliacs could eat out, with confidence, and this study highlights just why it is needed ... and not just in Melbourne. 07.01.2022 There are so many things we are yet to understand fully, and so many new discoveries, trials and research bodies revealing possible triggers etc ... who knows what lies ahead regarding possible preventative measures and treatments ? Every new discovery gets us closer to ... something :)

05.01.2022 Roadtrip to Brisbane today via the Sunshine Coast, so I finally get to drop into Soul Kitchen Bakery ... and seriously cannot wait. 04.01.2022 A reminder for those travelling through the Newcastle area of NSW during the school holidays, to plan your route via one of the McDonalds locations that offer Gluten Free options in their McCafe. They have a great range, and when you are travelling it is so convenient to be able to stop and have a quick meal or snack with the whole family at Maccas, rather than feel left out while the others indulge. If you have kids that are Coeliac, then it is the perfect opportunity for th...em to finally have a Maccas meal, it might not be a Cheeseburger Happy Meal, but it IS Maccas :) Yes they are Coeliac Australia accredited !
