04.01.2022 DID SOMEONE SAY SNACKS?! These peanut butter energy bites are simple and made with wholesome ingredients that you probably have in your pantry. Plus, they taste like cookie dough! 3/4 cup all-natural peanut butter 1 3/4 cup rolled oats... 1/3 cup honey 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips Optional: 1/4 cup flax, chia, or hemp seeds If using refrigerated peanut butter, add peanut butter to a medium microwave-safe mixing bowl and microwave for 20-30 seconds, until the peanut butter is less solid. Let the peanut butter cool so it won't melt the chocolate. Add the rest of the ingredients to the mixing bowl and stir for 2-3 minutes until fully combined. At this point, if the dough is very sticky, you can refrigerate it for an hour or pop it in the freezer for 20 minutes to slightly firm up. Line a baking dish with wax paper. Using your hands form the dough into about 24 tablespoon-sized balls and place in a single layer on the baking dish or cookie sheet. Refrigerate for an hour or freeze for at least 20 minutes before transferring to a storage bag so the balls will hold their shape. Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months. #protein #snacks #healthy #yum

02.01.2022 Whose keen to HIIT IT in 2020? HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time. A HIIT Workout icreases the body’s need for oxygen during the effort and creates an oxygen shortage, causing your body to ask for more oxy...gen during recovery. This afterburn effect is referred to as excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC) and is the reason why intense exercise will help burn more fat and calories than regular aerobic and steady-state workouts. #hiit #fitness #workout #cardio #fitnessmotivation #gym #motivation #fitfam #fit #hiitworkout #training #personaltrainer #health #personaltraining #bootcamp #weightloss #exercise #strength #functionaltraining #fitspo #instafit #healthy #goals #circuittraining #fitlife #ipswich See more
