20.01.2022 Have you ever wondered how to make a wicking garden bed from an IBC? It is super easy, and here's our latest video to show you how! Happy Gardening!

18.01.2022 What a great bunch of world changers have gathered together for the Launceston PDC that kicked off this weekend. So many fabulous ideas of designing landscape... changes at micro and macro-scale that will self-perpetuate sustainable systems. Thank you teaching team for sharing your unique understandings and experiences, guiding the group learning. It was such a privilege to spend time with local palawa Elder Aunty Judith-Rose Thomas at the Gorge sharing foods from our local landscape, storytelling and creating ochre art. An enriching, wholesome day of celebrating place and connections on our Permaculture learning journey together.

10.01.2022 A wonderful day of learning and storing for next season. Making compost, sharing strawberry runners, preparing seed for the seed bank and planning ahead for what we can grow in April. This gardening group at MRC North really rock!

07.01.2022 Another busy week of growing and learning in community. We have started to roll out the #biofilta #foodcube project in the Northern Suburbs of Launceston. These little beauties, made of 100% recycled plastic are robust, strong and efficient. Created as a wicking bed, they are designed to save water and produce a large volume of food in backyards and community settings. Looking forward to seeing what this new innovation is capable of. #foodsecurity #permaculturetasmania #commu...nitygardensaustralia #circulareconomy #reducewaste #earthcarepeoplecarefairshare See more
