25.01.2022 No doubt about it! We received over an inch last night here at Yallatup. The grounds are very slippery, and with the misting rain today it won’t dry out. We have made the decision to postpone until next weekend to keep all riders and horses safe. Please contact me if you cannot make the new date and wish to be refunded.

20.01.2022 | b r e a k e r | Handover day for mr Asher yesterday (aka patchy). Nothing like a cool calm relaxed first ride for the owner.

19.01.2022 A tip for anyone working on their young horse/s during COVID lockdown. Consistency always beats intensity. 'Mel' was purchased off his breeder as a 2yo after Glen saw him have his third ride under saddle. Daisy finished breaking him in in January 2016. Mel never had any particularly intensive blocks of work, he was just kept in a paddock nearby and ridden a few times a week by Daisy, with a couple of spells here and there. This video was taken in June 2017, 1.5yrs later. Th...e point being, a complete education takes longer than you might think, and the best results are never rushed. Happy training people!

16.01.2022 We just love hearing updates on our home broke horses! Boots recently found a lovely new home down at a feedlot in Condamine. Jordyn says He’s exactly what I was after and has done great at the feedlot so far. He’s such a sweet boy with lots of talent. We wish Jordyn and Boots the very best together for their exciting future ahead. Boots is very lucky to have found such a caring and dedicated owner.

15.01.2022 Another past resident of Yallatup doing his new owner proud Massive congratulations to Elenor who took out the VICTORIAN HI POINT ASHLA 1st year competitor. 10.01.2022 SOLD One Moore Daddy Mare 9yo, approx 14.3hh ‘Enya’ is easy to catch, shoe, rug, float, tie up etc. ... Quiet mare, would suit campdraft or all rounder. Has worked the flag, and previously had a couple weeks structured work on cattle with trainer. I’ve also done many lessons on her with a view to Campdraft, however I am no longer pursuing that discipline. Shes naturally cowy and rates well. Doesn’t get fizzy or forward around them. Enya has been out and about to numerous barrel races with me, she’s lightly patterned, fine around loud music, undercover arenas, other horses, will tie up all day, and travels well. She’s also easy for a trail ride and happy to plod along, not worried about traffic, dogs etc. Up to date with Hendra, worming, tetanus & strangles. Teeth done in last 12 months. Currently in work with Daisy Robertson at GG Horsemanship. Please contact myself or Daisy for any enquiries. $6000 Located: 20mins North of Mackay *Video available on barrels *Dry work and cattle work video available soon
