14.01.2022 Our thoughts & prayers go out to those in our community who have been devastated by the fires. Our family is incredibly lucky & thankful that we still have a place to call home. We encourage everyone in the area to prepare for another monstrous day this Saturday, including the strong possibility of more power loss: If possible, source a generator (Bunnings) to intermittently run bare necessities such as your fridge & hot water system. A small stock pile of fuel to run it i...s suggested in case local petrol stations are unable to open again with no power. LED candles & batteries are a good substitute for lighting (Bunnings, The Reject Shop) Ensure all phones are fully charged, if possible source a lithium battery (Bunnings, phone/computer store) for your phone that can continue to charge your phone if no power available. If Endeavour Energy need to fix or replace overhead or underground services in your area & they advise a Level 2 technician is required to connect the power to your house, please give us a call. Check with your insurance provider as there is a strong possibility this process will be covered. Please stay safe & listen to advice from Emergency Services. And keep praying for rain!!
