JOB DESCRIPTION Repair Installer For Pumping and Irrigation Industry GGPE are looking for a person capable of working in a Workshop and Field environment. Duties will include Repairs and Maintenance to all types of Pumping Equipment Assessment of causes that have led to damage of units Assessment of site Installation to ensure that they are correct and to be able make recommendations Too rectify faults. Installation of New Pumping Systems Construction of Pipe work and manifolds for such systems. Assisting other trades and areas of Business when required. Pump System Type Pressure Boosting Solar Pumps Irrigation Household Septic Systems Bore Pumps Marine-Seawater Irrigation Domestic Irrigation Government Oval and Park Irrigation Dust Suppression Systems Agriculture Stock and Water Transfer Horticultural Hothouse Sectors Industrial- Mining- Local Government-Marine- Agricultural-Horticulture-Domestic Requirements Pass Drug and Alcohol testing Medical Certificate of Good Health As To Perform Job Requirements Federal Police Clearance Minimum Current C Class License (Manual) Sound Mechanical Knowledge Able to Work un-supervised Able to work in Team Environment Areas of Work Main Workshop Geraldton OFF site Locations in town OFF site Locations in Midwest Occasional Off site in Outer areas of W.A Hours of Work 7.30am -4.30pm Monday Friday 7.30am 12.00pm Rostered Saturday Work Extra Hours as requested dictated by breakdowns RDO’s Remuneration Subject to Abilities and Skill levels
