08.01.2022 Along with some rods and reels from Ghana and England, I also have some Alvey gear too. I know my youngest son still has the first Alvey reel and rod I gave him. Gear built to last along with competing with cheap stuff from overseas built not to last but to throw away and replace with more cheap and nasty stuff as led to this sad decision by the Alvey family.
