04.01.2022 Need help selecting your subjects for the HSC? Here are a few tips: 1. Complete Subject Compass - take a look at the short video below to see what its all about 2. Be clear on the rules for subject selection - these are listed on the Subject Compass website and your school will also help you with this 3. Make a list of the subjects you are interested in and are offered at your school or through VET... 4. Tick off the ones you are certain about - the ones you know you want to do 5. For the subjects you are unsure about, come up with 3 things you really need to find out about each one in order to be convinced the subject is for you - write each one as a question 6. Go ask! There are lots of ways you can do this. Attend your schools information night and speak with a relevant teacher, go visit a teacher currently teaching the subject one day at school, and if you can find a couple of students who are currently doing the subject/s you are thinking about (or have done them recently) and ask them your questions. Do this and you are well on your way to making a clear and confident decision. Good luck! https://lnkd.in/gK_jdVv
