A lot has happened this year, but what might these trees have witnessed over the decades? Construction of the hydraulic bridge over Denison Canal in the fishing town of #Dunalley (1965). Closure of the #Oatlands Gaol (1937). Comings and goings of Merino sheep, producing wool for mother England and other exports.... Incredible. The Tasmanian life and economy has changed so much since these trees were seedlings!
