We plan to stay open for business and continue regular hours for the foreseeable future; until the government advises otherwise. We would like to thank you for shopping with Gibbs Farm Centre. We appreciate your business through this global crisis and helping sustain the future of the local economy. As you continue to shop at our store, we are doing everything we can to disinfect and sanitise all point of sale area. This includes regular disinfecting of eftpos machines, counter area and floors. However, there are some things that you can do to help us: 1) ensure that your hands are clean and do not shake hands with staff; 2) remain at a distance of 1.5 metres when talking to staff; 3) avoid cash payment, we insist that all customers use contactless payment where possible. Following these guidelines will help all preserve the operation of the store and provide staff and customers a safe and sanitary workplace. The health and safety of our staff, customers and families is paramount. We respectfully ask that you do not come into the store if you have returned from overseas in the last two weeks, have come into contact with persons infected with COVID-19, have symptoms that include dry cough, temperature or difficulties breathing. However, in order to do this, we are asking for your help and cooperation. Please, comply with the following conditions when shopping at our store: 1) we have restricted entry to the store and customers must wait at the front counter. We have implicated this rule to keep the store under strict quarantine standard for your and our safety. 2) ensure that your hands are clean and do not shake hands with staff members. 3) remain at a 2-metre distance from staff and fellow customers (until payment is required). 4) we are asking that customers pay via eftpos - as we will not be accepting cash.
