23.01.2022 From our furry family of Gibson's Pet Friendly to your furry family - THANK YOU for all our support - to all the guests that have kept coming back again and again and again and to the new guests that have just discovered us and our little paradise town. We are so lucky to live so free and enjoy the things in life that REALLY matter - with our furry 4 legged friends by our side. This year sure has been a testing one, with SO many unknowns. I'm not sure about you, but my doggy ...has kept me sane through it all and I am so grateful to have such an extraordinary connection with an animal, to look after, to get me out, to feed, chat to, and many many other things. Animals (especially dogs) are just the best and they remind us of what's truly important. They are patient, fun, funny, restful, playful and most of the time up for anything. 07.01.2022 Our hearts sank when we received an email in response to asking how a guests stay was at the Paperbark Retreat..... they wrote "We loved our time at Paperbark, BUT with three disappointments 1. We are disappointed we didnt come earlier 2. We are disappointed we didnt stay longer 3. We are disappointed that we are leaving!
