22.01.2022 POSITION VACANT: We are looking to add to our team at Gidgegannup Bakery a reliable, energetic & conscientious hospitality professional/barista for a mid - May start - 2/3 days/week casual (including regular weekend days) with availability to cover operating hours from 7am-6pm and good all-round flexibility.... Our ideal candidate is looking for a longer term employment. A current drivers license and reliable car are essential, as there is no public transport close to the bakery. RESPONSIBILITIES include - serving of customers - delivering barista style coffees to a high standard EXPERIENCE in in a fast paced hospitality role is essential, as are strong money handling skills. We will cordon off our dine in area again to make it more obvious and visible to who needs to sign a register and who doesn’t. ( the register does not apply to our takeaway waiting area) Guests wanting to sign in via QR code will need to have downloaded the SafeWa app from Apple or Google play store. ... A written register will still be in place as another option. Thanks for you all for your cooperation and let’s hope that we can all keep enjoying our relatively ‘normal’ lives moving forward

07.01.2022 Our staff are the backbone of our business. Never was this more true than back in March when we all found ourselves in the Covid turmoil of a daily changing landscape. These amazing people literally kept the bakery afloat by rising to absolutely every challenge, getting us through an extremely short staffed period, working as little or much as needed and for the bakers working at the most ridiculous of times to keep social distancing possible. Very deserving of a special treat as a thank you from us
