25.01.2022 Regardless of whether your beloved poochie is a 50kg attack dog or a 3kg handbag dog, they are still not welcome at an equestrian event. We really do believe yo...u when you say that your saintly hound is a delight around horses, but rules are there for a reason and it's up to everyone to comply with them. See more

24.01.2022 Some of our young riders doing a fabulous job of their D* test this morning.

23.01.2022 One for the pony clubbers. Based on the rugs that your ponies wear, could you design a rug for a baby elephant?

23.01.2022 Some of our youngest riders enjoying one of the last rallies for 2020.

22.01.2022 In honour of tomorrow being the horses' birthday and the weekend that all our pony clubbers get to go eventing, one of our very clever Gidge Pony Club mums has ...baked these special horsey cupcakes. They taste as good as they look, and I think you'll agree, they look pretty awesome. They're available for sale in the canteen but be warned, they go quickly, so don't dilly dally if you want one.

21.01.2022 Five days to go until entries for our SJ & XC Training Day on 20th June were scheduled to close .... but we're fully booked now, so we've closed entries this morning. We're delighted with the interest that we've had in this event and look forward to seeing horses out on our grounds again soon. Everyone who entered will get an email from us with a link to the draw as soon as it's ready and we'll post here once that link has gone out.

21.01.2022 In response to the Wooroloo Bushfire Disaster, South Bunbury Rotary Club have raised a sufficient amount of money to buy a large quantity of paddock seed, which they’ve donated to the owners of properties affected by the fires. Gidge Pony Club are responsible for accepting expressions of interest from local property owners, and sourcing experienced local farming contractors to assist property owners with seeding fire damaged paddocks. We invite anyone affected by the Wooroloo... Bushfire Disaster to apply for this program by following the link below for more information and completing the EOI form. Please share this post to help other people affected by the Bushfire Disaster access this assistance. EOI close Sunday 8th May 2021 as seeding season is right around the corner. https://www.gidgegannuphpcevents.com/bushfire-disaster-pad/

15.01.2022 One day to go until our training day and the weather gods are smiling down on us. You might need your beanie but you can leave the stack of dry towels at home. A few important reminders: 1) If you're sick, please stay home. 2) Please stick to the times of the group you've been allocated to.... 3) Please be on time for your rosters. 4) Please don't bring any extra spectators with you, we are limited by law to the number of people we can have on the grounds at any one time. 5) A coffee van and photographer will be at the event. 6) Food will be available in the canteen for GHPC members only - please order through Bronwyn. 7) Please practice standard COVID-safe procedures. 8) For orange zone parking - turn left after coming through the gate. 14.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who supported us today at our Training Day! It was wonderful to see riders out and about again doing what they love. Looking forward to seeing you all at the CCN.

13.01.2022 [PLEASE READ] Before we launch into our pre-event social media charm offensive, we'd like to take a moment to thank our sponsors. We know it may not seem parti...cularly newsworthy to thank sponsors, but given what's going on in the world around us, we think it's one of the most important things we will do. This year, the incredibly generous businesses whose names you'll see listed at the bottom of this post and featured on this page over the coming days, along with most other business owners around the country, have probably had sleepless nights worrying about keeping staff employed, doors open and bills paid. They may have had to think long and hard about every dollar they'll be spending for the rest of this year and beyond, but despite that, they reached the conclusion that supporting this event was worthwhile. Words don't seem enough, but they're all we have, so we'd like to use them to thank these businesses from the bottom of our hearts because, without their support, it wouldn't be going ahead. If you've never thanked a sponsor for a prize you've won at an event or don't do so regularly, we encourage you to do so at this one, and every event you attend this year. Our sport is one that depends on sponsorship and we all have a responsibility to show sponsors that their decision to offer their support, doesn't go unnoticed and unappreciated. Our generous sponsors include (in order of the classes they're sponsoring): Thompson and Redwood Gidgegannup Produce and Saddlery Choices Flooring By Gundrys Europa Warehouse Direct Mundaring Community Bank Branch Off the Track WA Vibe IGA Xpress Gidgegannup Eastern Hills Sand Supplies Pty LTD Chris Bray Electrics Pty Ltd Gidgegannup Bakery & Cafe Sambarley Sporthorse Stud Horseland Midland Zia Park Equestrian Centre & Horse Riding School BWM Property and Waste Services Winteringham Recruitment Dark Selections Chidlow Water Carriers.
