Each cushion has a pocket which contains inspirational quotes and unique verses hand picked by each year 6 students. 06.01.2022 What a fantastic day it has been. Thank you to Mrs Whiteside, our Year 6 students and our staff for a brilliant Cross Country event. It was wonderful to see our parents back on site for one of our marquee events. Thank you for your co-operation, it is this sort of community spirit that allows to conduct events such as today's. Congratulations to all of our students for they way they participated and competed (I don't think we have had so may dead-heats). Your sportsmanship wa...s outstanding. To our place-getters, well done and we look forward to seeing you represent us at the Interschool Cross Country next term. (Mrs Whiteside will be in touch early next term when we know how many representatives we will require.) Congratulations to Hampstead, our winning faction for the 2020 Cross Country.

06.01.2022 Novel Coronavirus Good Afternoon Parents and Caregivers We have been advised by the Department of Health who advises that the risk of transmission remains low; they are monitoring the situation. The Department of Health advise that if a student has been in contact with someone who has contracted the virus, they should seek medical advice and stay away from school until they are clear of symptoms for 14 days. As an extra precaution, if a student has travelled to or through Chi...na or Hong Kong in the past two weeks, parents are asked to keep them away from school for a period of 14 days from the date they returned to Perth. This is a precaution as the incubation period for this virus can be up to 14 days. After that time, and no symptoms, the student may attend school. Please access the Department of Health website (ww2.health.wa.gov.au/coronavirus) where there is a factsheet for parents and access to a helpline 1800 300 243. Kind regards Michael Kovalevs See more
06.01.2022 Good morning all, Unfortunately due to the overnight rain we are going to postpone the Faction Carnival until Wednesday 16th September. This was a difficult decision, however safety of our students is our prime concern. The state of the oval has deteriorated since yesterday. The favourable weather over the next 5 days will provide a significant opportunity for the oval to drain to an extent that we should be able to run our normal carnival.... The P&C will transfer any received lunch orders to next Wednesday’s carnival. Thank you for your understanding, we look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday. Regards, Michael & Chelsea.

04.01.2022 We are ready for a wonderful year of learning. Excited to see everyone this morning. Please remember to call the school before coming in if your family has been in China. UPDATES FOR SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITIES - CORONAVIRUS The Department of Education is working with WA Health to monitor and respond to the unfolding international novel coronavirus to take the necessary precautions for students and staff.... Update - Travellers from China From Saturday (1 February) foreign travellers who have left or passed through mainlaind China will be denied entry to Australia for two weeks. Australian citizens, permanent residents and members of their immediate families will be exempt from the ban but are asked to self-isolate for 14 days from their date of departure from China. The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) has advised Australians not to travel to China. For the latest travel information visit smarttraveller.gov.au Update - Students who have returned from mainland China (not just Hubei Province) As of Saturday (1 February 2020), all students arriving out of mainland China (not just Hubei Province) must self-isolate in their home for 14 days after leaving China, other than for seeking medical assistance. They are not able to attend school, school events, day care centres or residential colleges. This also applies to parents/carers, contractors, visitors and volunteers on school sites and at school events. The 14 day exclusion is a precaution to ensure the safest possible environment for children. After 14 days, if the student has no symptoms they may attend school. Parents/carers should notify their school that the student will be away for the exclusion period, and confirm the date in which they were last in mainland China. Students in close contact with a person who has a confirmed case of coronovirus If a student has been informed by Public Health authorities they are a close contact of a confirmed case of the novel coronavirus, irrespective of whether they have developed symptoms, they cannot attend school, school events, day care centres or residential colleges until their local public health unit informs them that it is safe for them to do so. This also applies to parents/carers, contractors, visitors and volunteers on school sites and at school events. Parents/carers should notify their school, and evidence from the public health authority is required for the student to return to school. The WA Department of Health has more information on the virus including factsheets for parents in English and Mandarin and access to a helpline 1800 300 243
