25.01.2022 CALL FOR PERFORMERS! Performer applications are now open for the 6th annual Gidgestock Music Festival - Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9/10/11th October 2020. Gidgestock is emerging as one of the highlights of the WA music calendar and the ‘Gidgestock Experience’ is based on the Woodstock theme of peace, love and great music set in a spectacular 50 acre Gidgegannup property, only 40mins drive from Perth. Just as Woodstock was the launch pad for many top names in the music indust...ry, Gidgestock is aimed at promoting talented established and emerging WA bands and performers of mixed genres. Last year was a sensational event where our largest audience yet enjoyed a variety of outstanding acts ranging from folk groups to full on rock and roll bands. Gidgestock Music Festival donates all profits to the Leukaemia Foundation and local fire brigade and all volunteers and performers provide their services free of charge. In addition to being part of the great Gidgestock Experience, performers receive free tickets, food vouchers, camping and breakfast, extensive publicity, great sound, and a quality video and sound recording of their performance. 15.01.2022 Hi to our Gidgestock supporters, thanks for your concern and well wishes regarding the fires this week. Fortunately we weren't at the property when the fire came through on Monday evening, I've been back since and the devastation is incredible. Many homes close to us were destroyed but luckily our house, and the stage survived unscathed saved by the open bare ground all around. The fire did burn right up to the house and through the bush on all sides. So the landscape may be a little bare this year but we intend the festival to go ahead in October, fingers crossed!

Through the generosity of our performers, sponsors, volunteers, committee members and, of course, everyone who came to support Gidgestock 2019, we were able to raise a total $30,000 to be shared by our two beneficiaries.
