25.01.2022 Last week in the supermarket a complete stranger started talking to me, asking questions and telling me how beautiful my baby boy is as if she knew us. And I found myself so flattered and happy to briefly chat with her in the biscuits isle. I answered all her questions and then also listened when she then proceeded to tell me about her great great grandchildren , neicces and nephews. It made me smile. It made my day actually. I still haven't really made any friends since moving. Starting out in a new town and knowing no one then throw a new baby into the mix, the feeling of isolation is 10 fold! So chatting with someone else's granny for 5 minutes at woolies in between the babies naps was some what comforting and felt warm and fuzzy What was your favourite part of today?

17.01.2022 { FUN FACT } Add some Avo guys! Did you know avos are full of healthy, monounsaturated fats? Healthy fats help to control our appetite by releasing hormones in the intestine that signal fullness AND they are jam packed with antioxidants and rich in vitamins B & C!

14.01.2022 Truth be told, motherhood is hard. Insanely, monumentally, enormously hard Last night I was thinking about how grueling motherhood can be. I complain to my sisters and girlfriends about how overwhelmed i get. I cry to my husband (and my mum!) when im questioning my abilities as a mum. On occasions I have questioned who I am anymore and sometimes don't even recognise the face in the mirror. I try to take me time wherever I can cram it in, in attempt to recharge and come back to life fresh and focused But one thing I know, and you will agree with, is that no matter how hard it gets, we are always going to feel so lucky that our children chose us, and that we are the center of their universe. You are exactly who they need.

08.01.2022 What’s a lunch favourite in your home? Cheese Toasties is a favourite in ours We all LOVE cheese toasted sandwiches. Donnie loves ham on his, Damien doesn’t care as long as someone else is making it, and I love just cheese! I totally inherited this from my mumma!

04.01.2022 Did you know our babies can start to use a spoon by themselves at around 10 to 12 months old? Like anything new, they get better with practice...even if it means loads and loads of mess. We should give our babies the chance to use spoons and forks at every meal timeYes mumma, it is going to get MESSY!! How do you cope with the mess? I for one can't stand it! I'm cringeing at the thought of having to go through this phase again with bub number 2

04.01.2022 Even though the Easter long weekend is over I'm sure, just like me, your fridge is still loaded with chocolate eggs and the bench with a loaf of hot cross buns So Remember the best way to recycle Easter egg foil is to scrunch the foil up into a small fist-sized ball before placing it in the recycling bin This makes sure the small bits of foil don’t get lost in the recycling process. The cardboard boxes that package the yummy eggs, can be placed in your yellow recy...cle bin for recycling. Chuck your hot cross bun bags in REDCycle collection bins at participating supermarkets across the state. Just remember to take the tags off before you place the bags in the bin. PS. Happy school holidays mummas What are you up to?

04.01.2022 Tableware made for happy little giggles and a happier planet What makes your little giggle happy? PS. Happy Friday-eve
