25.01.2022 Our 3rd workshop with Rhe took place today. The children have started work on our canvas that will have the word that we find symbolic to Giggles (watch this space). Any ideas what word it will be?? Feel free to write in the comments.

25.01.2022 Finger painting is: * an excellent tactile experience * encourages the development of cognitive skills * strengthens hand and fingers assisting with fine motor skills * gives children the opportunity to use their imagination and create ... * stimulates children’s senses. However the most important benefit is that it is FUN!!! See more

23.01.2022 To expand on the childrens sensory, cognitive and fine motor skills we love to use sensory tubs. With multi purpose and learning experiences emerging from experiences such as these, the children love to stay engaged for prolonged periods of time. Our tub today consisted of chick peas and beans with scoops and tubes. The children explore cause and effect when scooping and pouring. We talked about the different colours we could also see.

23.01.2022 Our deliciousness of the week continued today with some croissants brought in by Mateo and Lucas. Some devine mini cupcakes from Penny also did the trick of curbing our desire for a sweet treat. Thank you to both of these beautiful families that we are lucky to have at our Giggles village

23.01.2022 Going On Excursion With our backyard renovation underway, what a perfect opportunity to get out and about in the community and walking on country. Embedding safety on our outing, the Butterfly children know that a trip to the local park involves ball games, social games and taking a moment or two for some drawing.

22.01.2022 Dear families and community Please take 30 minutes from your day to watch this video and share with everyone you know. The best thing we can do for ourselves, children, family and community is to be informed and aware. Please and Thank you ... https://education.nsw.gov.au//resource-library/q-a-with-dr

16.01.2022 EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS DAY The love we have for our profession is resonated through the beautiful smiles, love, care, fun and learning we provide towards our most precious little ones. We wake each day and turn up for work to be greeted with unconditional love and sticky fingers in return. We wipe dirty hands and faces, change countless numbers of nappies, play mediator between friends and roll around and get covered in mess. This is all in a days work. Giggles has the most amazing team of educators any child and parent could ask for. Today we were spoilt by everyone, through kind affectionate words, gifts of chocolate, balloons, cupcakes and then some. We appreciate you all and together we are connected as one
