On this day five years ago we were busy getting ready to open our doors with a brand new menu, one without the animal products we had been serving since we opened ten years earlier, when we did not know the extent of the cruel and unsustainable reality of animal agriculture and before our family chose a cruelty-free lifestyle. We had no idea how things would turn out, no other restaurant in Sydney had removed all animal products from its menu before, but a...ll we knew was that we had to do what was right and take a leap of faith... You all had our back! 5 years on and there is still a queue out the door, we still have our AVPN certification and we’re still on Sydney’s top pizza lists (despite the predictions and hopes of some naysayers).
