10.01.2022 I made a detour up to the Sunshine Coast to visit my mum after a few days in Brisbane for work. Her market garden is gorgeous. Last night I shelled a bag of freshly picked peas for dessert - better then and we drank tea and chatted making the most of the not quite 24 hours together. Mum knows I like to have tepid water with in the morning so she sent me to her tree to find one. That I did. What a mother of a lemon. She then showed me all the ice cube sized frozen lemon juice she’d made for me. My melted at her kindness and just how much she is always thinking about us kids and what’s important to us. Something I take for granted way to much.
09.01.2022 You know I love a good sourdough and earlier this year attempted to create my own starter. I am such a beginner but I do find a good quality sourdough is ok for my tum. For anyone who is as obsessed about sourdough as much as me, a great article that the very clever Food and Words sent me this week.
