In October, well be opening The Yeomen of the Guard at the Dolphin Theatre at UWA and we want YOU! Well be holding auditions at G&S Hall (Lemana Rd, Nollamara) on the 8th and 9th of June for all principal roles and chorus. Marli moved to Perth last year and made her OZ theatre debut with G&S WA as Lady Angela in PATIENCE. She holds a MA in Drama and Theatre Arts, and has worked in Europe and South Africa on stage and screen. Her faves include Ophelia in HAMLET and TV series, 7DE LAAN in South Africa. When she's not being a triple threat on stage, Marli loves photography, and finding all sorts of Van Gogh references in everyday life. Catch Marli in THE MIKADO from May 2. 10.01.2022 VALE MAX KAY A.M. All of us at the Gilbert & Sullivan Society of WA are deeply saddened at the passing of Max Kay A.M., our much-loved patron of many years. Succeeding retiring patron, Sir Charles Court, Max brought his immense theatrical knowledge, experience, enthusiasm, and camaraderie to the Society. His encouragement was constant as was his technical advice, and we will miss his engaging presence and loud applause at our performances. We extend our deepest sympathy to his wife, Norma whose presence was and always will be welcome at our activities.

Born in New Zealand, Brigitte trained at the Australian Opera Studio, and holds a Masters of Arts from the Wales International Academy of Voice. Now based in Perth, Brigitte made her G&S WA debut as Tessa in THE GONDOLIERS last year. She is equally at home in cabaret and channels her passions, Callas and Dietrich, in her solo show, MARIA, MARLENE & ME. Brigitte speaks fluent German and English, and loves running and cycling.
